Firstly, Sue advises us against something we are all guilty of: “Do not wax, have threading, facials or a spray tan the day before your wedding. Disasters can and will happen! Spray tan looks more natural on the second day and you don’t want rashes or wax pimples the day before. These are impossible to cover up”.

Delegating stress and getting enough sleep are two of Sue’s most important tips. “It sounds basic but sleep is so important – do not go to sleep later than midnight the night before your wedding and don’t drink! You want to look as fabulous and fresh as possible. Professional make-up or not… ladies it will show the following day!”

Sue recommends delegating duties to your bridesmaids, after all, that’s what they are there for. “Not only will stress cause emotional strain but it can also cause hair loss, rashes, spots and dry patches on your skin,” she reveals.
